Comparability — South Africa [top]
In 2010, the original source data allowed for respondents to report two simultaneous activities during each time slot of 10, 15 or 30 minute increments. When a respondent reported two simultaneous activities for one time increment, we have split these activities into two separate activities that each report one of the two reported simultaneous activities. In the case of 15 minutes time increments, we split each pair into a pair of 7 and 8 minute increments to avoid decimals in the time variables.
