Description

SECTOR reports whether respondents who are employed (see EMP) work in the public or the private sector OR, for those who are not currently employed, whether their most recent job was in the public or private sector.

Comparability

For some countries, SECTOR is only available for people who are currently employed while for others SECTOR may also be reported for the most recent job if the respondent is not employed.
